Class C All-State Honor Band

Senior Trumpet player from Wilber-Clatonia High School, R.J. Zurcher has been selected for the Nebraska Class C All-State Wind Ensemble. Students audition for 2 different ensembles. The Wind Ensemble, which is the select group made up of the best players and the Symphonic band made up of students who were not selected first for the Wind Ensemble. The honor band takes place at Kearney High School on March 17th and a final concert will be presented that evening. Band students from almost every Class C school audition for these 2 ensembles and it is quite an honor to be selected.
R.J. plays first chair in the Wilber-Clatonia Band and Jazz Ensemble and is also performing a trumpet solo for District Music Contest in April. Congratulations R.J.!
