Just Who is Flat Stanley?
And Why Did He Come to Wilber?
Flat Stanley is a
flat, cut-out that is mailed to students, friends and family in
different states in hope of learning more about new areas.
Students typically photograph Stanley with students, and at places of interest in the community he is visiting. Then Stanley is returned with the photos to his home school, with additional information, such as the location, weather, population, special activities of his host school.
Stanley came to Wilber-Clatonia from Winfield Scott School in Fort Scott Kansas.
