FBLA Holds Annual Year in Review Banquet
Chapter begins 44th Year; Scholarships Announced

Members of the high school division of the WC Chapter #4014 of the Future Business Leaders of America Chapter held their annual Year in Review Banquet at Hotel Wilber on Monday evening, May 4.
Following a prime rib dinner, Chapter President, Kessa Rezny, called the meeting to order.
Presentations were made to school administrators, Ron Oltman and Keith Muller. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Kurt and Sandee Kiesel for assisting the chapter during the past year. Others who were named as certificate recipients were Supt. David Rokusek, Marlene Vlcan, Kathy Helgren, Connie Hasenohr, Patti Schuerman, Tim Linscott, First State Bank, Brenda Watson, and all the parents who accompanied the chapter on its trip to Chicago last summer.
Senior member, Brock Rezny, was recognized as the Chapter's Who Who in Nebraska FBLA at the State Leadership Conference in April. He also earned the Membership Madness Award from the National FBLA Chapter.
The Chapter was recognized for earning the Sweepstakes Award at the State Conference.
The Top Merit Awards for Members were presented to the following members:
Seniors: Clint Watson, Zack Vogt, and Austin Seyfert
Juniors: Katelyn Koll, Katie Muller, and Andrew Pryor
Sophomores: Rylee Wilder, Jenna Uher, Sami Truka
Freshmen: Dara Hagen, Dillon Bates, and Hannah Ochs.
Kessa presented Certificates of Service to the outgoing officers: Seth Dallmann, VP of Records and Communications; Cruz Barnas, VP of Finance; Patrick Bruns, VP of Public Relations; Sydnee Kiesel, Historian; and Brock Rezny, Parliamentarian.
Adviser, Sherry Marks, presented the Chapter's Scholarships. Brock Rezny and Clint Watson each received a $200 scholarship. Funds for the scholarship come from the members work in the concession stand and the Duck and Dumpling Run.
A slideshow, reviewing all the chapter's activities during the year, was created and presented by Brock Rezny.
Assistant Principal, Keith Muller, conduced the Installation Ceremony for the 2009-2010 officers: Kessa Rezny, President; Sydnee Kiesel, VP, Hannah Ochs, VP of Records and Communications; Katie Muller VP of Finance; Savanna Kiesel, VP of Public Relations; Dillon Bates, Historian; and Andrew Jeffries, Parliamentarian.
